Pspradio

Hy all!!

Once you manage to get your psp to execute homebrew software you´ll find your hands full of new posibilities. Your PSP will never be only a gaming machine. One of the best applications I´ve found is called PSPradio. With it you can listen to online streaming radio statitions, of course you need a wifi access point :).

I´ve got a PSP with 2.01 firmware, so I use GTA savegame exploit to execute a loader and then homebrew software. I´m going to explain the steps needed to execute PSPradio in any console with 2.0+ firmware:

1.- Download the eloader from fanjita´s web page. There is an automated installer.
2.- Once you´ve intalled the eloader you are able to execute homebrew software, if you have a GTA umd.
3.- Next thing you need is a copy of pspradio. Read carefully through the readme.txt file. The installation process is absolutely straight forward.
4.- Ok, everything is installed. Now it´s time to setup your netword configuration. It´s absolutely necesary that your psp take its ip address from a dhcp server, otherway pspradio doesn´t work.
5.- Now it´s time to put your GTA copy into your psp and turn it on. After a while you will see the loader main window, there you select to execute pspradio.
6.- Once pspradio is loaded press start button. Now you see the options window. Select your conection, and download the latest station list.
7.- Press start button again, and enjoy listening online radio.

Both eloader and pspradio are packed with excellent documentation, so read carefully before installing. Executing homebrew software is not ilegal, and will expand the funcionality of your console hugely.

Greetings.
