Exhausted

Hy!!

These last days I´m really exhausted. I´m working a lot in Tenerife and this makes me travel more than I would like to. Moreover I have a lot of practices to finish at University and this makes me stay almost every day in the laboratories, and sleeping less than what it´s advisable. Do you want to know more, yes there is more to tell. Next May 7th I´m running the second half marathon of my life. I´m training extremely hard. The objective is complete the 21 Kms in 1 hour and about 30 minutes, thus an average of 4 minutes and 30 secons per km.

Next thursday I´m travelling again to Tenerife. I´ve to broadcast a golf open. The event goes from April 27th to may 30th, this means another weekend far from my house, far from my bed.

Canarian Fight

As I told you in my last post I´ve spent my weekend in Tenerife, broadcasting a Canarian Fight show, and a football match. Here you can see a Canarian Fight field, we call it here "TERRERO". The floor is made of beach sand. Fighters use to be huge men most of them about 1.90 meters height and more than 100Kg weight.

This was an atempt to make a "panorama" picture from some others, but the results, as you can see, are not good enaugh. In fact this is the result of mixing only two pictures, because I couldn´t get any acceptable result from more than two. I´ll keep on trying.

Well after a few minutes more, "playing" with the software i´ve get this:

This Canarian Fight show was on Saturday, on sunday i was broadcasting a Tenerife´s football match agains Lleida (a club from Catalonia). The result was a draw 2-2. Here a pair of pictures of the stadium:

Easter holydays

Hy everybody!!!

Today easter holidays have began, well not that good, only at university, in fact tomorrow and the day after tomorro I have to work in Tenerife. Like always I'll broadcast a canarian fight show, and a football match.




Today I've been in a party in the countryside, we call here this kind of parties "asaderos". We spend all the day eating roasted meat, drinking rum and beer, and laughing a lot. Really a nice day.



After the asadero I went to Chasi's house to drink a little bit more. I met her today, and also other people from university. It's allways good time to meet new people.

TVE in Canary Islands support demostration

This morning (Sunday April 2nd) I was in a demonstration supporting TVE´s production centrer in the Canary Islands. Due to a pland to reduce the public´s television budget TVE´s production center y Canary Islands is planned to be closed off. My own job depends on this production center but this is not the main reason for me to support this. Canary Islands are extremely far from the rest of the country. The only way that our needs, and what is happening here reaches the rest of the country is though the national television, no local or regional one can do this, and we need this kind of comunication, it´s fundamental for us.
